Margarete Lieb Zalon, RN, BSN, MA, PhD, University of Scranton, Panuska College of Professional Studies, Department of Nursing: The intensity of acute pain and post-operative recovery in older adults.

Diane Mick, BA, RN, MSN, PhD, University of Rochester, School of Nursing, Merck/Hartford Institute Geriatric Nursing Research Fellow: Exploring predictors of cascade iatrogenesis in elders.

Karen Dick, BS, MS, RN, PhD, University of Massachusetts, Boston, College of Nursing and Health Sciences: Advanced nursing practice activities and the outcomes of those activities including acute confusion in hospitalized elderly, along with the effects of a nurse practitioner on process and outcomes of a home-based primary care program.

Elizabeth Gonzalez, BSN, MSN, PhD, MCP-Hahnemann University, College of Nursing & Health Professions: Urban minority older adults with Alzheimer's disease and the health status of their caregivers, including their resourcefulness, appraisals, and coping efforts.

Jean Lange, BSN, MSN, PhD, Fairfield University, School of Nursing: Patient satisfaction with hospital nursing care, and patients' knowledge of bedside caregivers' credentials.

Hong Li, RN, PhD, University of Rochester, School of Nursing: Family care for hospitalized elders, developing and testing nursing interventions in caring for hospitalized elders.
