Partners for Dissemination of Best Nursing Practices in Care for Older Adults This program is specifically targeted for staff developers in hospitals. It enables staff development educators to: Meet JCAHO age-specific competency requirements for staff Enhance staff skills in caring for older adults Develop clinical leadership expertise in geriatric nursing The Partners program provides a Staff Development Educator Implementation Manual that includes: Clinical Leadership Development Workshop Designs of varying lengths (from 20 minutes to two-days) that promote the expertise of clinical leadership in geriatric nursing best practices Staff In-service Lesson Plans of 20 minutes or 50 minutes that teach skills and knowledge in geriatric best practice Teaching Aids (Try This assessment series, aging sensitivity exercises and more) Curriculum Mapping Exercise Continuing Education Unit packet Evaluation Packet and Action Plans (forms are useful for JCAHO reporting) Regulatory Competencies samples Click here for more information about Partners for Dissemination.
