The Consortium of New York Geriatric Education Centers (CNYGEC) is a group of four academic partners committed to training a wide range of health and human service professionals and interdisciplinary faculty throughout New York State. The consortium consists of the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Brookdale Department of Geriatrics and Adult Development, New York University's College of Nursing, Columbia University's Stroud Center for Quality of Life in Health and Aging and Center for Geriatrics and Gerontology, and the Hunter College Brookdale Center for Healthy Aging & Longevity. The consortium draws on the outstanding resources of five major teaching institutions, over 75 faculty, hundreds of clinical affiliates, and four major libraries.

- Advanced Course in Geriatric and Palliative Care for Frontline Primary Care Providers
- Faculty Development Course: Interdisciplinary Geriatric Cultural and Linguistic Competency
Core Day 3 podcasts have been added to the Hartford Institute e-learning center. The courses are listed on the left side of this page. If you are choosing to receive a 40 hour GSC, 7 hours can be completed through this online learning opportunity. Nursing contact hours will be available for all online modules. Electives will be available in April 2012.
