HIGN and AACN launch APRN Faculty Resource Center

Geriatrics and the Advanced Practice Nurse (APRN) Curriculum

Ensuring the Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) workforce is prepared to care for older adults, these resources focus on assisting nurse faculty.  The American Association of Colleges of Nursing, in collaboration with the Hartford Institute for Geriatric Nursing, New York University College of Nursing, have developed multiple teaching resources and strategies designed to help make the transition to the new Adult-Gerontology NP Education Requirements.  These resources provide faculty with the knowledge, skills, and tools to enhance gerontology content and support curriculum redesign in programs graduating Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNSs).

This project was generously funded by the The John A. Hartford Foundation.

Theses are resources are free and can be accessed by faculty and students.  Access materials now!
